About Theme
The term Soft Computing represents a collection or set of computational techniques in machine learning, computer science and some engineering disciplines, which investigate, simulate, and analyze very complex issues and phenomena. SocProS13 aims to bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners to present the latest achievements and innovations in the interdisciplinary areas of soft computing,to discuss thought-provoking developments and challenges, to consider potential future directions. One of the objectives of the conference is to encourage participation by young researchers;to this end student papers will be given special consideration 
About SocProS
SocProS is a three year young series of International Conferences under the joint collaboration between a group of faculty members from IIT Roorkee, ABV-IIITM Gwalior and Liverpool Hope University, UK. The first SocProS was held at IE(I),RLC, Roorkee, Dec 20-22, 2011, attracting a large number of national and international researchers. The second SocProS was held at JKLU, Jaipur, Dec 28-20, 2012 and was a grand success. These "go-green" conferences used the online submission system Easychair and the proceedings were published online by Springer. The 3rd Conference, namely SocProS 2013 will be held in the Greater Noida Extension Centre of IIT Roorkee.
